bash-3.0 on Tru64 4.0G (memory fault)

Hi all,

   I am wondering if anyone have had problem running bash-3.0 on 4.0G +
patch kit 4, installed on a DS10 with 512MB physical memory...

I successfully compiled the gnu bash-3.0 using cc compiler however when
I try to run it on xterm, I get the line "memory fault - core dumped"

Has this been experienced by others and what to do to get bash running
on Tru64 4.0G ?
