Oracle shared memory segments & GH regions

Tru64 v5.1B PK4
Cluster of two GS1280 with 10GB RAM & 4 CPUs
4 CPU => 4 RADs
Each region rad_region = 1280
4 * 1280 = 5 GB

Oracle 9.2 with SGA of 4.8 GB

After db startup we see in ipcs -a that Oracle has
taken 3 segments:
- first 4 GB
- second 800 MB
- there is another ... A small one for the listener I
think

How can I check that both segments came from GH
regions ??
Why Oracle picks up 2 different segments for SGA
instead of one ??

Is there any parameter that control the maximum size
of a shared segment ??
