SUMMARY: DESKTOP vanished ...

Hello Admin wizards,

theeeheee, once in my life I found a solution myslf :o)

For reasons I did not figure out yet the $user/.xsession was changed to 
a wrong one - I replaced it with the original one from my backup and 
everything is up again.

I mount my homedir via samba, using it as filespace from my desktop - 
maybe this has to do with it, since I got a brandnew PC these days. Will 
dig for an answer.

today I tried tzo login on my server (True64 4.0f) using Exceed - and my
Desktop has vanished. Only a DECterm-Window pops up.
Everything seems to work normally, just the desktop has vanished ... gah!

a) how can something like this happen?
b) how can I regain the desktop?
