ES80 Alphaserver connection

A bit of a a OT hardware question.  Can anybody provide a doc or tell me how to cable a 3 drawer ES80 as a single partition?  It's cabled using the internal IP interconnect cables per the docs.  I can bring all three up seperaltly.  the MBM shows they are all the single default hardware partition.  I can bring all 3 up to the P00 prompt, and each see thier own stuff.  How do I get dwawer 0 to see all the PCI slots/cpu/mem, etc, the way i would expect a single part to look?
