Monitoring hsg80 on t64 5.1b-3

Hello Managers,
I have in the past used steamd ( SWCC500) to monitor disks on hsz70/80 
subsystems. For the most part, it has worked well. Notifications are sent 
via email for disk failures and other issues.
We recently acquired a used ES40 and HSG80 subsystem running 5.1b-3. I 
would like to monitor the SAN controller and receive notifications of disk 
failures.

I am hoping that there is some new method of accomplishing this under 5.1b-3.

What is everyone using to monitor these controllers?
