MORE INFO: LSM errors after B-4 patch?

Not to answer my own question, but I think I at least know what is going on.

root_device on / type advfs (rw, quota)

I have a feeling that after the patch (maybe sysconfigtab changes?),
the system is loading the dsk0a partition directly, and that is
keeping LSM from being able to use it.

Now the question is how do I fix that?  My LSM skills are very rusty,
and I have no clue how to tell the OS to point back at LSM for its
root device.
