Replacing KGPSA-DQ with KGPSA-EA

Hello Managers,
At the request of a non-HP storage vendor, I will be replacing a 
KGPSA-DA host bus adapter in an ES47 with a KGPSA-EA version.
If the new card is in the same slot as the old card, will I need to 
do a kernel rebuild?
Version of T64 is  5.1b-3.
