Building php-5.2.5 on tru64 5.1b

Hi all,

I get this error when building php 5.2.5 on tru64 5.1b (2650):

checking for Apache 2.0 handler-module support via DSO through APXS...
configure: error: ZTS currently requires working POSIX threads. We were

Of course as for all other package builds, I am using the -pthread in the
cflags, which never gives any problems ususally.

Is there any workaround someone has used on tru64??
