SUMMARY: (Amnesiac) Console

I wrote:

when it {the server} finished the booting process, instead of showing the normal run level 3 (graphic) screen to login in the console, it shows only a blue screen like:

Login:
xxxxx
 
Running the scrips in /sbin/init.d and netsetup to restart the network solved most of the problemns, but the real problem was that the /etc/inittab was corrupted, precisely the lines:
s2:23:wait:/sbin/rc2 < /dev/console > /dev/console 2>&1
s3:3:wait:/sbin/rc3 < /dev/console > /dev/console 2>&1
