Problem with su

	Tru64 gurus,

I am running 4.0f with Enhanced Security.  Every once in a while, when I tr=
y to su to root I get the message

 Account is disabled -- see Account Administrator

If I then log in at the console and use dxaccounts to check root, I see not=
hing weird (i.e. the account was not locked nor was the password expired). =
 Without apparently changing anything with the account, after I log out of =
the console I am able to su successfully again.  The Security Controls for =
root are

  Minimum Change Time     1 hour
  Expiration Time         1 year
  Lifetime               20 years
  Minimum length          8
  Maximum length         26
  Password History Limit  5

Does anyone understand what is going on here?
