Short of actual recovery of backed up contents...What is the best method of= verifying DLT tape contents, that have been backed up using "vdump -0vf /d= ev/tape/tape0"? I've seen some commentary about the "/usr/field/tapex -m" command, and I cu= rrently use "vrestore -tf /dev/tape/tape0" to verify contents(somewhat tedi= ous). Also, once I have the method, what is the best way to compare the output of= the tape contents to the actual fileset contents on the disk? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------= -- Thank you, and please feel free to contact me by phone or email.
