Mary,

I have a few Dasylirion species and can confirm what you have said re 
the leaf margin spines, however I have D.acrotriche (as far as I 
know!)which has blue leaves.... It does indeed have frayed tips and 
all the marginal teeth point forwards towards the leaf tips. Is it 
possible for D.acrotriche to have variations re leaf colour?
