I should maybe have put my question a bit more specific, for the lack 
of which I am sorry.

I am only interested in the original plants, not the Cv`s. And in 
hardyness.

And yes, I also suppose that the variegata seed will produce green 
stuff (I shall post here an article that I just translated, "The 
Secret of the Striped Agaves" by Peter Kuppen, author of the famous 
series of articles on Agave nomenclature, as soon as I have his 
answer on my translation; he wanted to update it).
