the plant is in a private garden but visibel from the road ( the road from Lagos to Monchique in SW-Portugal ). This location should have every 10 years or so little frosts to -1 or -2=B0C but nothing severe. I myself have never been in the BG Lisboa or in Sintra but have heard many fascinating stories about these. Seems I have to go there ... I have traveled to Portugal several times. Was this plant in the Botanical Garden in Lisbon? There were so many big beautiful plants there. Unfortunately each time I've gone there the greenhouses have been closed. Have I missed the cactus and succulent plants... or were they not there? I'd like to go again sometime. >=20 > Ann Dickey >=20 >=20 >=20 > --------------------------------- > Do You Yahoo!? > Yahoo!
