Dear Ken, Do you have any more info on Agave x 'Edward Hummel', such as its originator, who named it, its parentage, etc.? It looks very similar to Agave attenuata 'Red Edge'. Could they be the same? I have been told that it does not readily offset, and must be propagated via decapitation. It's fairly rare in the trade.
