Re: Agave and Hesperaloes

Hesperaloe seed are very easy to germinate. Use any good potting mix,
sow them on the top of the soil then cover very lightly with either the
same mix or fine sand. Keep them evenly moist and you will find that
germination is best if the soil and the surrounding air is very warm. I
don't know where you are, but here in southern Arizona they will
germinate beginning at around 75 but are much better once the
temperatures are over the 90 mark. They will look like grass, so just be
patient and they should do just fine. Best of luck,
