OH I LOVE THIS PLANT!  and the knowing of from whence it came! 
OOOOOOH! the normals are not an abnormal event, one must trim the 
occasional normal from almost EVERY variegated plant of which I know, 
my variegated Gingko has normal branches here and there, but it is 
pruned the moment they show their lack of striping. it is a 
remarkably beautiful plant, and here it is, i have had it since 1976 
when it came to me in like a rose pot, a few inches of stem and a few buds.
