Well - I just toss them in a tub, so don't really know how deep the taproots can go - but the two that I did dig up earlier this spring were about 1 foot long - but if grown shallower, they will just grow horizontally (like in a tub) No idea if bottom heat will help these particular palms or not. ______________________________________________ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Do you want to receive my plant newsletters via email?
