[Sansevierias] Hydroponics

A friend in Indonesia is using hydroponics or water to start his
Sansevieria off.
The first picture shows the cutting in a small glass container so that it
is only just suspended over the water but not touching.
The second shows the roots starting to develop. He says it is much faster
than the conventional strike them in soil and wait. I think I might have to
improvise cut off tops of plastic bottles for the small glass bowls.
