Hi,
Yes - especially when it's THIS cold - which is unnatural! We rarely see temps below 10 degrees F, but it looks like it's 5 out there right now. My plant house is not a greenhouse, but a barn type structure. MUCH better for heating. My pet fish are in there as well :) 
I do not have any Cylindropuntia anymore - I avoid the spiny things when possible, but I have 5 types of spineless opuntia (one is spiny), and 2 types of spineless Tephrocactus. 
What else do you grow ?

I many of your same interests. (I am envious of your greenhouse.)
I have been to your area before and have it found it to have many nice people.
Weather is just too darn cold there this time of year.

I should introduce myself too, to the new comers! Welcome! 
I am also a succulent lover, and grow 48 (and growing) distinct named varieties and species. They truly are addictive! I, too, prefer species, but do have a bunch of hybrids or / and variegates. I have a rare and unusual plant business, mostly online - and grow everything in a 20x25 plant house that I pretty much built by hand - and have about 27,000 plants crammed in there! I'm in coastal Massachusetts on the north border.
