Hi Leon. I send greetings from The Great Volunteer State! Your wish to see your masoniana morph into a "man-eating monster" provides me with opportunity to brag a little with the attached picture of me peeking between the leaves of my 15+ year old masoniana. It makes a nice accent piece in the living room in the winter; and in the summer it enjoys front porch living where a pair of wrens regularly raise a family. You might have to click on a thumbnail picture at the bottom of this message to see the full picture. I hope you change your mind about the variegated forms. Beauty begins with the variegated types :-) Mike ----- Original Message -----From: [email protected]: [email protected]: Sat, 04 Jan 2014 15:21:58 -0000 (UTC)Subject: [Sansevierias] RE: Welcome to a new member My name is Leon and have morphed into a rabid Sans lover, since I got my first S. cylindrica in the 1990's. I will keep a couple of trifasciata about, but I really enjoy some of the more uncommon, hardy species.Hoping to see my masonia become a man-eating monster. : ) Naturally I was very excited ( & blessed) to receive a deserti cutting last year. Not a big fan of variegated varieties.I admire enthusiasts who maintain large Sans collections. My fantasy is to get a large greenhouse and have a dedicated section for an expanded collection to share with other Sans aficionados. Thank you for the warm welcome, Leon
