mail order used to be sight-unseen, based on a generic picture of a 
plant, not necessarily the one you are getting, and sometimes even a 
drawing. I used to do drawings back when I was putting out a 
hand-done catalogue for economy. Or black and white polaroids printed 
on a Xerox machine. now we can ask for an email of the exact plant we 
are going to get. and when picking things up, there is no sale unless 
the plant being picked  up is something you would voluntarily buy if 
you saw it someplace.
