Hi Jude, I suppose  climate is also severe in Massachusetts. I watched the "New in town" movie with Renew Zellweger ) - was it about your state or some other?  
 Khanty-Mansiysk if very far from Ozero Bajkal, to the north-west.
 I also grow a lot of plants, pelargonia, aroids and mostly succulents, sansevierias prevailing.
 All the plants are grown indoors. At this period of year most of the plants are stagnant. But the daylight hours are increasing, the weather will become warmer soon and I'm looking forward to seeing my sans pups ) 
 I'll post my sans' pictures as far as i get home.
 As for your plants, how do they survive the cold season?
