Very interesting - thank you! As far as I know, it is a hybrid, and
therefore would not be found in the native habitat - but from what you just
posted - it is a true species ? Enigmatic little plant.

One thing I noticed is   "subspicata-concinna complex" I had no inkling
that they were even that close.
