I'm just thinking out loud here, but if you used a Bonide product designed for insect control on plants I doubt it would cause misshaping of your leaves.  Can you send us a picture of these "damaged" leaves.

I forgot what might be the main factor; I had added Bonide systemic pesticide powder to the soil. So you think this could be it?

My guess is that it might be 'cultural,' maybe has to do with water quality or amount, or irregularities in photoperiod or photo intensity, temperature, or drafts perhaps? I am growing them indoors. Any ideas? Thanks!
