Herm, you earlier commented on the appearance of some yellow on this plant. I saw that, and just assumed it was evidently a variegated form of, MAYBE, longiflora. There must be several other possible names for Olga's plant - and even hybrid 'no-names'.

I think when a person asks for a name from a picture it is good for people to hazard a guess and/or ask for more information mainly because there is precious little information available to absolutely key-out correct names. There seems to be a hoard of new sansevierias lately (last couple of years) coming out of Africa, Tanzania, I think), and they largely all look alike to me. I for one don't like to settle for a "collection number". The Asian growers will gladly give one, or two! Ha!

Only as a suggestion, I think this plant might be S.longiflora.

 It is so hard to identify sansevierias from pictures.



YES YES YES Mike, it is very hard to ID certain plants who resemble eachother strongly with pictures, unless possibly you took 20 pix,someexcruciatingly detailed. Actually in my collection of plants dating backto the mid 1970s when I divided them and replanted them, plants I havegrown and handled for thirty odd years, there were a few upon which I hadto think.
