Just spent a pleasant 45 minutes in the garden cleaning some seeds from
 Sansevieria grandis var. zuluensis Bally53209. I got 29 nice large seeds
and now have orange hands. I will probably be sowing them in the next week
or so. The picture shows the fruits the orange ones are ripe the green ones
unripe. They were self set.
Now the flower spike has been cut off I can at last clean the window and
let the light in.
At the bottom of the picture is the top of one of the large leaves they
 reach up to 3' long. The var. zuluensis is regarded by most as just
grandis now but as this is from a cutting from Kew from the original Bally
plant I'm labelling it as such. You will be able to read about this in one
of the forthcoming ISS journals either #32 or 33 not sure which one yet.
