Here is another Sans that is not often appreciated (see attached [picture). It is 'Morganstern's Futura Aurea'. These two growths are 'joined at the hip' so to speak. The parent was the yellow growth. The yellow growth is frequently called STF 'Asahi' -- a later name which was coined (unnecessarily) by Angel Ramos of Hawaii. The beauty of this plant to me is that every leaf is different although they all have the yellow overtones. This is a hot mama sans and a frequent pupper.
The green growth, however, is about as ugly as they get, Note the margins have a 5mm wide green stripe while the centers are a gray.green. Both growths have a fairly heavy raised striations which can easily be felt with the fingers (like courderoy) and seen in the picture. It might have a name of its own; I don't know. I have extra of the yellow.
