Seal!  I mean Deal!!  Today (Thurs.) I have put 'His Ugliness' in a priority mail box to POB 1736, etc. etc. I hope you will be able to make me famous in the world of Sansevieria collectors so my grandchildren can brag about their grandpa.

I have added a second Sans plant in the box for you. You might not recognize the plant right off. I know what it is. Tell me your guess after you get the box and I will verify. WARNING: lift mystery plant out gently as it has a young, white pup that has not emerged above ground yet and is hard to see amongst the wadded newspaper. I'd hate for it to snap off. Of course I know mail handlers throw boxes around in the sorting rooms and evil things happen.

Here's hoping your curiosity in the days to come lets loose some endorphins that will make you perky.

Here is another Sans that is not often appreciated (see attached[picture). It is 'Morganstern's Futura Aurea'. These two growths are'joined at the hip' so to speak. The parent was the yellow growth. Theyellow growth is frequently called STF 'Asahi' -- a later name which wascoined (unnecessarily) by Angel Ramos of Hawaii. The beauty of this plantto me is that every leaf is different although they all have the yellowovertones. This is a hot mama sans and a frequent pupper.

The green growth, however, is about as ugly as theyget,


I do not agree! I would cut the twins in half and see if the greencorduroy one continues to produce itself. I think it is GORGEOUS. Send itto me and I will name it after you if it is stable.
