Attached are a few pictures of the subject sansevieria. This plant is a descendant of the USDA experiments in the 1940's (in Florida) to develop a Sansevieria with long, strong fibers for the making of rope. This plant is a bit unusual, maybe even rare, because it is variegated. At 6+ feet long, with large, heavy rhizomes, I hate depotting the monster. It needs a large, heavy pot because the tall leaves act as a sail to sometimes blow the pot over in a wind. Although every leaf has at least one yellow stripe, I always discard the lesser variegated pups and keep the best. As an F-1 hybrid, it exhibits the hybrid vigor you would expect from a first cross.
