I feel the same kind of genetic aberration which gives a plant=20
camouflage is no different from the ones which give us pleasure.=20
There are plants with various kinds of variegation and discolouration=20
which makes them look less appetizing to creatures which would eat=20
them. I know somebody once said"nature abhors a vacuum" but this does=20
not apply to plants at all.I have also known some highly variegated=20
plants to grow and proliferate faster than all green ones, one of=20
them being Gold Hahnii. At one time I grew these en masse under the=20
same conditions and I would say I got one third more in number of the=20
Gold Hahnii and also they were MUCH BIGGER.
