Nice to meet you Chris.

So this morning I was riding down the dirty and busy
San Pablo Avenue in North Oakland with a gallon of new
paint strapped with bungies to my rack so we can
finish the bathroom this weekend.

It made me think of the carfree movement.

Am I the only Californian who owns a house but not a
car? What kind of freaks are we?

Below is a note from the World Carfree Conference
organizers. I went to Berline with Dave Snyder of SFBC
last year and we had a blast. Highly recommended.
