Hi all I tried sent to to the email form on the website but it didn't work so I am posting it here: I wanted to let you know about my organization's new website promoting a car free development proposed in the San Francisco Bay Area in California. Our web address and a recent press release are below. We would greatly appreciate your help in getting the word out by adding our site to your website's links section. Also we are currently looking for potential residents and investors to build Quarry Village. If you would like to join our efforts we would be grateful for any help you could offer. Sincerely, Brian Stankievich brian-cTxQVNTXLIIuePe+dAxFWdi2O/[email protected] Quarry Village www.quarryvillage.org The Hayward Area Planning Association announces the launch of its Quarry Village website. Quarry Village is a proposed, retail and housing development with three story buildings in Hayward. Quarry Village supports living without a car and severely limits the role of cars within the Village. We have sale and rent prices shown, but they are tentative. We have most of the financial analysis finished, but will continue to refined the numbers. The current financial spreadsheet is on the website under "Neighbors and Investors." We will target ten market segments (see "Supporting Different Lifestyles"). HAPA hopes to show that there is a large enough market for "car-free" living that developers could make a profit building the Quarry Village. If there is enough evidence of a market for Quarry Village, we will seek investors. We will also seek support from the City of Hayward and the Metropolitan Transportation Commission for funds to do a Specific Plan for the Mission Blvd. corridor from Cal State University, Hayward, to downtown Hayward.
