help us get the word out

dear carfree folks

i need your help to get the word out about carfree.
i want to get names and information for as many groups
as possible that we should contact about carfree to
get them entered into our database and get them to
sign on as supporters of the project and potentially
contribute financially.

first of all, i think that we should work on creating
a list of the types of groups that we want to target. 
These are the ones that I can think of. Please give
your ideas as well as breaking these groups into more
specific focuses if you think that that is important. 
Then, once we get types of organizations that we will
contact together, hopefully people will help me out to
come up with contact information for as many different
organizations possible.

here is what i can think of so far:

pedestrian org's
cycling "
mass transit "
alternative transportation "
subways, railroad, groups "

senior org's
smart growth "
new urbanism "
children's "

environmental org's
anti-pollution "
anti-car "


please add any more that you can think of and once we
get a comprehensive list compiled, we can start
collecting info on specific groups.
