Hello All—

We have a new article up on Sustainable City News, exploring "Portland, Oregon: the Multi-Modal City."

Pn our last visit there, we were greatly impressed by how well it accommodates all modes of traffic (though it still, despite its image, gives too much space to cars, to too little effect).

Portland is more than beer and caffeine, and is a real port city as well, with extensive docks and vast freight rail networks (plus Amtrak, which is how we got there from LA).
