ciao, I just want to add to Joel's coment that media is now giving more information about the peak oil production in 2006 and predicting of steep decline in oil production. Main causes for this situation on oil market are risk of war and unrest. This article shows that world oil production has already peaked and will fall by half as soon as 2030, according to a report which also warns that extreme shortages of fossil fuels will lead to wars and social breakdown. http://www.guardian.co.uk/oil/story/0,,2196435,00.html This black bizarre scenario is just proving that Dr.Marion King Hubbert was right in his early predictions about the peak oil predictions and economic crises in US. http://www.lifeaftertheoilcrash.net/ And Herald Tribune have noticed that" Crude oil climbed above $93 a barrel for the first time" and that price of crude oil is approaching the price of $100 a barrel. http://www.iht.com/articles/2007/10/29/business/oil.php Week by week the price of oil is going up before the coming winter and worse is yet to come !!!. We are not willing to frighten people but to warn them about the evident consequences of the cheap fossil fuel based economy. Get on your bike and ride !. Try to relax and forget at least for a while about your problems.
