2 announcements: Your Carfree Day pictures for wcn website + internal mailinglist

Hi all,

from time to time I receive press inquiries on Carfree Day (cfd). What
journalists are looking for, are pictures in high-resolution.
Unfortunately, our WCN website doesn`t provide any, or only a little.
So my question is: If YOU have nice pictures of your cfd-events, and if you
agree that they can be used for free (without any copyright limitation)
please send them to me.
I want to create a "best-of-cfd" compilation in WCN`s cfd-chapter:

Your picture will be published in the wcn website with this undertitle:
"your name / your website", alternativly: "WCN / www.worldcarfree.net". Let
me know what you prefer.

I want to invite you - members of WCN - to my "internal list". I created
this mailinglist last May to help prepare this year`s AGM. It is dedicated
to discuss WCN`s internal issues only, like Strategic Plan, financial issues
(like ICC grants and membership fees), other rather organisational
issues, and further questions where a public discussion in this public "big
list" here is not useful. The internal list is not a decision-making-body,
but it is a forum for supporting WCN`s Steering Committee. I'm thinking,
members of the internal list can help provide information for SC decsions
and even help develop proposals from there. Most SC members are already
subscribed to the internal list, so these members can request assistance
from us - the people from WCN - at any time.
It`s a "hidden list", so its archive is visible for its members only. If you
want to join, send me an e-mail OFF-LIST and let me know from which WCN
member org you are (in case I don`t know you). Also individual wcn members
are welcome.

To be clear, the differences between the lists are:

The internal list is not dedicated to discuss *projects* of WCN or its
member orgs - we have this [carfree_network] list - the "big list" - for
that, where a lot of people from WCN and from outside are subscribed. See
