Eurobarometer shows climate change is second biggest concern of Europeans, after poverty

Dear all,

a EU barometer published yesterday shows that Europeans consider climate
change to be the second biggest  serious problem (62%) facing the world,
after poverty (68%).

For your info: TNS opinion also conducted a poll for FOE on the cars and
CO2 regulation, of which the main findings report is attached.
87% percent of respondents in 5 key member states want measures
requiring car makers to cut fuel consumption with 25% to be adopted
urgently, and are convinced this measure will be good for their
country's economy (64%).
