The recent joining of an influential person :-) inspired me to update
and reannounce the yahoo CFLIT group. You are encouraged to choose a
better networking site and set a group up there for us to move to if
you like.

An update to the description:

Can carfree, plane-free people--people who have whatever the type of
consciousness it is that we explore--create the most compelling
stories and lives and get those lives read, viewed, and learned-from?
We're all doing it in our own way--but--as with the cartoonists Singer
et. al.--if there are serious carfree writers & media producers,
possibly they could benefit from networking and collaboration.

But the old description applies as well:

We discuss strategies for expressing the carfree vision in a
compelling way to diverse audiences with a particular focus on the
creative arts (as opposed to public policy and political activism,
though the dividing line is not a clear one...).

Discussion includes strategies for publishing/ producing and marketing
mass media events and content. Initial focus is on thriller/page-
turner type novels. We're also open to discussing plots and details
for plays, screen plays, internet fad sites, popular song groups and
so on...
