Dear all,

Unfortunately at this point the York team don't have enough time to take
over and organise a conference here in 2009 but we will be discussing a bid
for 2010 in the coming days.

For 2009 at this point I would suggest a two-day event with the AGM as the
second day, rather than a full-fledged conference. With an event of that
type, it becomes very important for it to be centrally located in Europe, so
I would suggest Prague for reasons of practicality. The Toulcuv Dvur centre
used in 2003 would be ideal in terms of facilities.

Best,

Randy
