Wanna experience Carfree Day 09 in Budapest? Call for Youth Exchange participants

Dear members and friends of WCN,

Our partner organization Hungarian Cyclists' Club in Budapest, Hungary is
organizing a Youth Exchange during the European Mobility Week this year. WCN
is now seeking for 3 young participants (between 18 and 25) + a group leader
(no age limit) to join the international group of young urban enthusiastics
in Budapest in September.

*The objective of the project is to go over the common and alternative forms
of city-scale public and individual means of transport and urban land use
along with their ability to remodel the cityscape in negative as well as
positive ways. We would like to show directly and clearly, that the
direction of these future changes strongly depends on our present attitudes.
The project will be implemented by cooperation among organizations, experts
in the different topics.*

   - Meals, lodging and programme costs will be provided and paid by YOUTH
   in ACTION Programme. Youth Programme will also cover 70% of travel costs
   meaning that participants will only contribute for 30% of their travel
   costs.
   - The working language is English.
   - There will be 5 groups from 5 countries.Each group should have 1 group
   leader and 5 members between 18 and 25.

While selecting the participants the priority will given to young people
from Czech Republic and CEE region
who have design, architectural, urbanist or other art or technical
experiences or interests, and are highly motivated to actively participate
in the whole meeting and to contribute to the development of the programme.
