Towards Carfree Cities IX - York 2010 update

Dear all,

We're happy to announce that Early Registration is now open for Towards
Carfree Cities IX - York 2010. The dates again are 28 June to 1 July,
followed by the annual meeting of World Carfree Network (all members
welcome) on 2 July. Then for those who can stay on for 3-4 July, we are sure
to have a nice weekend excursion for you. A discount of approx 40% is
available to those who register/pay by 31 January.

We have also issued a Call for Programme Proposals. So if you have an idea
for a presentation, workshop, or other conference activity, we'd love to
hear from you by 11 December. The theme this year is 'How Do We Get There?'
focusing on bringing carfree communities to life.

York is a very popular place, so we recommend that you book your
accommodation as soon as possible. Please see the Accommodation page on our
website for details.

Lastly, for those based in York, we have an open meeting planned for Monday
