When the car free came to York I didn't get much support for anything to do with climate change. What do you mean, exactly? Are you referring to TCFC in 2010? I ran into some weird resistance at the Degrowth conference in Venice last month to considering carfree cities as part of a solution to our mess. (And the conference was in VENICE, for heaven's sake!) I really don't know what's going on. >Perhaps the penny will drop soon.
