Hi all, Daniel Mourek brought this to my attention: http://energyindemand.com/2012/12/19/pollution-from-cars-is-devastating/ It paints a very bleak picture of what pollution is doing in China and India due to the staggering number of new cars that are hitting the roads. The story even quotes Rajendra Pachauri, head of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, saying that cars should curbed. Should WCN reach out to IPCC? Is there anyone in India still active? I'm thinking of Kalpesh Kirti of Greenmile Foundation or Faizan Jawed, last on the Steering Committee, or Rajendra Ravi, from an environmental NGO, or others. In any case, this demands action.
