Agreement with Kosiv Authorities (in English)

This is a translation of the agreement that was signed
by Tamara in behalf of Ecotopia with the authorities
of Kosiv + National Park. 
It is quite general and positive.

I am sorry I made quite a fuss. I still think it
should have been sent to the organizers mailing list
before being signed. 

I will go the National Park office, ask them for help
(probably someone will be payed for helping with
preparation) and get soem materials to start building
some basics before the preparation team comes (toilet,
shower, basic kitchen).

The charity information-publishing center “ Green
Dossier” in the person of the director Malkova Tamara
Mykhailivna, Kosiv District Rada in the person of the
Head of the District Rada Hrymalyuk Ivan Fedorovych
and the National Natural Park “Hutsulshchyna” in the
person of the head Prorochuk Vasyl Vasylovych , have
made the following agreement:

                          1. The subject-matter of the
agreement.
1.1	To organize the international ecological youth
summer camp “Ecothopia-2003” and the  ethno-festival
“Not Standard Art Sheshory-2003” in Ukraine,
Ivano-Frankivsk region, Kosiv district, vil.Sheshory,
on the territory of the National Natural Park
“Hutsulshchyna”, since August,20 till September 2003
in the framework of the project “ Ecothopia-2003”
which is carried out together with the Dutch youth
organization EYFA.
1.2	The sides ,according to the agreement, consider
that the realization of the project in the sphere of
the popularization and revival of the Ukrainian folk
traditions and customs, activization of the
educational activity as for their popularization in
Ukraine and abroad, popularization of the ecological
themes , development of culture and improvement of the
state of the environment meet their interests.

                             2. Rights and Duties.

2.1 “Green Dossier” pledges itself to:
      2.1.1. organize the carrying out of the
arrangements of “Ecothopia” and ethno-festival,
involve international ecological people into the above
mentioned measures.
       2.1.2. involve local citizens and local
international programs to take part in the measures of
“Ecothopia-2003”.
        2.1.3. Keep to the rules of behavior in the
National Park, put all the efforts to support the
ecological balance and preserve the architectural
monuments.
        2.1.4. spread the information about
“Ecothopia-2003” and ecologic-educational actions
through the Mass Media .
        2.1.5. clean up the territory after the
finishing of the camp.
2.2. Kosiv District Rada pledges itself to:
        2.2.1. assist to carry out the festival and
the camp and to decide the problems of organization.
        2.2.2. assist to carry out mass arrangements
on the territory of Sheshory( ethno-festival,
ecological actions and exhibitions) on the stadium and
Shevchenko park.
         2.2.3. organize security and fire-guard,
medical help during the festival and camp.
         2.2.4. be the co-founder of the
ethno-festival “Not Standard Art Sheshory-2003” .
         2.2.5. assist to spread information about
festival and arrangements of “Ecothopia-2003” among
the Mass Media.
2.3.The National Natural Park “Hutsulshchyna” pledges
itself to :
         2.3.1. Help to accommodate the camp on the
lawn on the territory of the Park
( the preparatory camp must begin in August,13, the
basic one will be taking place since August,20 till
September,3, the dismantling of the
camp-September,4-5);
         2.3.2. help to organize the living conditions
for the camp( to provide logs, wood for building
constructions);
        2.3.3. the above mentioned points are carried
out by the National Natural Park with the additional
agreement.

3.1. The terms of the duration of the Agreement: since
the moment of the signing till September, 10, 2003.
