Gould at his best

Folks,

I can't pass judgment on Gould's merits as a scientist. But I find him
a master essayist and one of the two or three best science
popularizers in English. Ever.

What follows is his NYT piece from yesterday about the formal report
of data of the human genome. Worth two careful readings, in my view.
