On a side note, you KNOW the British press was in HEAVEN with that 
quote. It's everything people hate about America, wrapped in a ribbon. I 
can just see the journalist trying not to smile and jump up with glee.

Not that it isn't utterly telling. But I always like to think of the 
journo's reactions when I'm reading.

Also, this piece in the New Yorker by Seymour Hersh is top-notch:

Paints Rumsfeld as a miserable bastard (surprise), and got Hersh called 
a traitor. Go Hersh! The man who broke My Lai is going after Rumsfeld.
