This was really creeping me out, in a vague security kind of way. I
restarted Xemacs, hence my mailer, and it went away.

Then I had to know what happened. I'd already grepped through my
Big Brother Database (xemacs mailer address book) which is a 5mb serialized
to disk elisp list of addresses. (Gah, I don't know how many, thousands at
least). No Andy, no Eskilsson. Very odd.

Then I remembered that in a fit of pique, I'd found an Xemacs PHP mode to
install because editing code that doesn't have syntax hilighting was
starting to annoy me. I did a M-x load-library on the file and all was good.

So I thought that might be part of it; maybe the PHP mode file had some mail
vars in it and they'd overwritten mine? Here's where my inherent laziness
helped; instead of opening that one file, searching in vi, and going away, I
just grepped all the .el files in my ~/emacs -- voila! Andy Eskilsson is one
of the maintainers of gnus (mailer/newsreader).

Somehow doing a load-library loaded up gnus.el which had overwritten my mail
name and mail address.

Restart and I was back to knowing how to seem to be me.
