Gary Kamiya on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict

Polls conducted in the Middle East indicate that the Israeli-Palestinian
conflict -- and the US involvement -- is *the* number-one
political/religious issue of concern in the Islamic world.   Not just
harder-line Muslims, but the vast moderate majority.

Gary Kamiya has a thoughtful article on the conflict and US involvement, in
the context of 9-11.  I believe it is very well balanced, but recognize that
from the perspective of a more ardent supporter of current Israeli policies
it will seem somewhat biased toward the Palestinian side.  Only somewhat,
though.
