Read the report by Tariq Ali on the front page of www.counterpunch.org about his arrest at the Munich airport.

This was expectable. Makes you wonder... what about all of those that are now under arrest? To have a mid-eastern name, to talk about Palestine, Afghanistan, to be left-wing, is becoming more dangerous...

Remember the FBI reports saying that the terrorist acts, anthrax, etc, came from within the US ? from US radical extremist groups ? How dificult do you think it is, for the average american, to mistake you for a radical extremist ?
There is real danger, that we may be moving very quickly, towards fascism.

The final conclusions by Tariq Ali are interesting also. What does he think the german Social-Democrat Party is ? Was it not ellected ? Isn't the party that rules in Portugal called Socialist Party either ?
